It wasn’t until high school when Robyn first discovered her true and most deep passion, the art of dance. She soon became a member of Not Yet Rated (NYR) and performed and competed at a variety of venues across southern California. Currently Robyn is a proud member of Hi-Fidelity, San Diego’s premier all-female hip hop dance troupe. With an open heart and an optimistic mind, she embraces the future and all the beauties and challenges that come along with it.
Robyn has yet to reach the peak in her dancing career and continues to mature and aspire to new heights. She humbly and respectfully credits her growth and success to her mentors, Erik Saradpon and Melissa Adao. As directors of Hi-Fi, they dedicate their talents towards molding dancers into strong, diversely trained, and well established members in the dancing community. Robyn’s ongoing commitment and high expectations for Hi-Fi illustrate that she is eager and willing to contribute to the team as well as encourage each member to develop into a well-rounded individual, all possessing the same vision, desire, and drive for hip hop dance.
While pursuing her career in dance, Robyn is a full-time student at San Diego State University and teaches Hip Hop at the Aztec Recreation Center (ARC) as well as at the newly established FORMALity Dance Academy. Currently in her third year at SDSU, she is studying Nursing with hopes to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007.
