This course is intended to be an introduction to indoor climbing where students will focus on the skills required for climbing at indoor facilities where ropes and routes are set up and easily identifiable to the climbers. Students will review climbing movement techniques, belay techniques, equipment use and selection.
Course includes twelve instructional sessions, online assignments, and completion of a pre-approved day or weekend adventure with Aztec Adventures. Additional trip information provided on the first day of class.
This course requires students to attend one day outing.
