Aqua Boot Camp (All Levels)

Get ready for a high intensity boot camp class in the pool! Sprint, splash, and swim while building your heart and lungs with under water and stamina exercises like treading water, shoot throughs, and tuck jumps.

Train your core with much more than crunches and sit ups! The core consists of the abdominals, obliques, pelvic muscles, back and glutes. A strong core can help improve athletic performance, posture and balance. Be prepared to feel the burn in all the right places.

Do you need change in your routine? In the style of Crossfit®, this class will have strength and metcon (metabolic conditioning) components. The Olympic lifts will be practiced in a safe and controlled manner. All levels are welcome!

Get ready to discover muscles that you never knew existed in this barre-based class sure to make you feel the burn! This high intensity interval training class combines both cardio and muscle segments to get your heart rate up and your blood pumping. Get ready for a fun, full body workout using a variety of resistance equipment to increase caloric burn. Leave at the end feeling both exhausted and exhilarated!

This class includes multiple music genres and incorporates toning in addition to aerobic work. It is for everyone, from the beginner to the highly experienced exerciser: the emphasis is on providing a fun and effective workout for all fitness levels. You’re sure to break a sweat with a smile!

Circuit Challenge (All Levels)

Looking to amp up your cardio and strength training routine? Circuit Challenge class will get your heart rate high and your muscles strong! You will be challenged with high intensity cardio intervals, functional training moves, agility drills, strength training exercises, and more, to get you out of your regular routine and into your next level of fitness. Dig deep, and this class will challenge you from the inside out!

This class is a great opportunity to build both muscular strength and endurance in the legs while cycling, then finish off the beginner friendly workout with some abdominal work!

This mat-based class will deliver results! Improve muscle control, posture, flexibility, and coordination. Experience exercises designed to maximize core strength, while sculpting the muscles of the trunk and hips. Looking for an intense, athletic style of yoga sure to make you sweat? This flowing version of Ashtanga yoga will help you develop strength, flexibility, and balance while providing you with a physically demanding workout. Hatha style breath includes a mindful and restorative component to complete your practice.

Looking to supplement your outdoor rides or join the spinning craze? The ARC is a Spinning® certified facility and our classes are led by Mad Dogg Athletics certified Spinning® instructors. The Spinning® program is the global leader in indoor cycling training, education and equipment. This fun class will improve your endurance through a simulated outdoor ride filled with hills, sprints and other terrains.

Strength Training for Women (All Levels)

Ever feel lost in the weight room, ladies? Looking for a designated time to work on your strength outside of the busy weight room? This class will safely help you learn and improve your front squat, deadlift, and other compound movements while sculpting and defining your muscles. Class is located in the Performance Center.

Tabata HIIT (All Levels)

Tabata HITT – HIIT, or high intensity interval training, is a challenging and fun way to maximize your workout in a shorter time frame with a variety of equipment. Each Tabata is 8 rounds of 20 seconds all out effort with 10 second breaks. Proven to burn fat more effectively than other cardio variations, this class will leave you sweating and wanting more!

Looking for an upbeat workout to incinerate calories and push you to your fitness limits? Try this combination of intense kickboxing and dance moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy and motivating music. It’s the ultimate cardiovascular challenge.

Try this 30-minute workout that combines suspension training and high intensity interval training focused on increasing strength, power, and endurance. Suspension training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Classes take place at the ARC Express.

This is a high energy dance fitness class that takes dances from all over the world and mixes it with an urban, hip hop flavor. When you walk into a U-Jam class, the feeling is always happy and energetic.

Vinyasa Yoga (All Levels)

Looking to achieve internal balance and reduce tension and stress? This class uses breath-synchronized movement to create internal heat that purifies muscles and organs by expelling unwanted toxins from the body in the form of sweat. Dynamic, flowing posture sequences will build strength and flexibility. You will learn to set an intention for your personal yoga practice and take the necessary steps toward reaching that goal.

Learn to OLYft (All Levels)

This class focuses on building strength using basic compound movements, as well an introduction to Olympic Lifting. Learn different techniques to apply to your own work outs.

The Performance Center is located on the west side of Peterson Gym accessible through the Racquetball Courts entrance.

Yoga Sculpt (All Levels)

Yoga Sculpt is a high intensity fusion of weight training and yoga postures that can help build lean muscle mass, boost metabolism, and enhance flexibility. Components include: flexibility training via yoga poses; full-body resistance training with weights; core isolation exercises; plyometric conditioning; functional movements that develop balance, coordination, and core strength; and breath and mindfulness integration providing workout enjoyment and an emotional recharge.

Looking to achieve a whole new level of fitness while feeling like you are at a party instead of the gym? Join this multicultural-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness party! Fun routines incorporate cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, flamenco, calypso and salsaton dance styles. A mix of fast and slow routines will provide you with a challenging workout!
