The SDSU SKI & SNOWBOARD TEAM competes in the USCSA Southwest Conference against other universities throughout Southern California and Arizona. Team members compete in events such as Slopestyle, Giant Slalom, Slalom, Boarder/Skier Cross, and Rail Jams throughout the season. The team travels to many resorts including Mammoth, a typical week long trip to Utah, the mountains around Lake Tahoe for the regional competition, and participates in the USCSA National Championships held at varying resorts across the nation, for those who qualify.
The Ski & Snowboard team is co-ed and encourages individuals with a refined skill level to participate as both competitive and recreational athletes. With the emphasis of skill improvement on the slopes, the team welcomes individuals of all levels. We are a team, but sometimes it feels more like a family.
