The waterski team has won the NCWSA Collegiate Nationals in 2006 (Division II) and in 1979 (Division I). The team has also been recognized nationally as a 1st or 2nd place non-scholarship collegiate club ( 2014-2018). The Waterski & Wakesports team has a very strong alumni presence, with many supporting the team as coaches for the team.
