Welcome to the home of the AZTEC ICE HOCKEY club team at San Diego State University! The Ice Hockey Club team competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II. The season begins in September and ends in March with approximately 35 games. In 2008, the club won the PCHA Championship and placed second in the nation in the ACHA Division III National Championship Tournament. The team welcomes individuals of all skills and is dedicated to developing players at a competitive level.

12th Annual SDSU Sports Club Banquet Success!
For the second year in a row, the Ice Hockey team has received the Sport Club of the year for meeting all the standards of the sport clubs program mission statement and continuously takes great strides to improve their sport club team. Phillip Wong, the team's Alternate Captain and Team President as well as the SDSU Sports Club Executive Vice President received the Bingham Sport Club Leader of the Year award for the second year in a row as well. The award is presented to the sport club officer who has significantly contributed unselfishly of themselves not only to their respective sport club team, but to the sport club program as a whole. Lastly the team also won the Ohana Spirit Award, which is presented to the Sport Club team who has committed their efforts towards supporting their peers within the Sport Club community, making spirited contributions to Sport Club athletes and their team.
