1. HOW DO I RESET MY APP PASSWORD?

  1. Enrolled Students:
    1. Visit Microsoft 365 Portal
    2. Select or type in your SDSU email address
    3. Select “Forgot my password”
  2. Members:
    1. Visit the ARC Online Portal
    2. Select “Sign In” on the top right corner
    3. Type in your email address on file with Aztec Recreation and click “Next”
    4. Select “Trouble signing in?”
    5. Select “Reset Password” button
    6. Then follow instructions in your email

2. STUDENTS: HOW DO I SET UP MY ENROLLED SDSU STUDENT AZTEC RECREATION ACCOUNT?

  1. Go to: ARC Online Portal
  2. Select “Sign In” on the top right corner
  3. Select “Enrolled Student Login”
  4. Enter SDSU login credentials
  5. Complete Duo Account Verification
  6. Click on the Bell in the upper right corner
  7. Read & sign the waiver - SIGNED WAIVER IS REQUIRED FOR FACILITY ACCESS
  8. Download the “Aztec Recreation” app, available on the App Store or Google Play
  9. Click the "BARCODE" icon
  10. Select “Enrolled Student Login”
  11. Enter your SDSU login credentials

3. STUDENTS: CAN I SET-UP MY ACCOUNT USING MY PERSONAL EMAIL?

You need to use your SDSU login credentials in order for the Aztec Recreation database to be associated with your enrolled SDSU student membership. If you created an account with a personal email, or if you are still unable to access your membership, please call the ARC front desk at 619-594-0194 for assistance.

4. WHAT IF I GET AN “ERROR: EMAIL IS TAKEN” WHILE SETTING UP MY ACCOUNT?

  1. Students: Enrolled students should return to the original sign in prompt and use the “Enrolled Student Login” button to access their account.
  2. Non-enrolled Students: This error indicates that there is an existing user account for the email address you entered. Attempt a password reset using the same email address to regain access to your account. If you are still unable to login, please call the ARC front desk at 619-594-0194 for assistance.

5. DOES MY AZTEC RECREATION PASSWORD CHANGE WHEN I CHANGE MY SDSU EMAIL PASSWORD?

Yes, your Aztec Recreation account is linked to your SDSU single sign on/login credentials.

6. WHY DOES MY PROFILE SHOW THAT I CANNOT RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP ONLINE?

Paid Aztec Recreation memberships are not renewable online. All memberships must be activated in person in order for our staff to verify your identity and affiliation as well as identify the best price available to you.

7. HOW DO I CHANGE THE CARD ASSOCIATED WITH MY MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT?

  1. Log in at ARC Online Memberships
  2. You may have multiple “memberships” listed. Find the membership that has “Card Info” attached to it.
  3. Select “Manage” and follow the prompts to change your payment card.

8. HOW DO I PAY OFF A BALANCE ON MY ACCOUNT?

  1. Log in at ARC Online Invoices
  2. Ensure the “Unpaid” tab is selected.
  3. Scroll to the right of the unpaid invoice and select “Pay”
  4. Enter the amount owed and select “Apply Payment”
  5. Follow the prompts to submit payment.

9. HOW DO I VIEW MY TRANSACTION HISTORY?

    1. Log in at ARC Online Invoices
    2. Switch the tab to view "All"

1. WHY DOES THE BARCODE REQUIRE ME TO LOGIN?

The app is structured to require login every 30 days and requires that members type their full login credentials directly into the text boxes. You do not need to click “clear barcode.”

2. HOW CAN I RECEIVE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT IMPORTANT CLOSURE INFORMATION ON THE AZTEC RECREATION APP?

  1. Go to your phone settings
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Then select the Aztec Recreation app and choose Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banner, as well as opt into Sounds or Badges
  4. You can also select to receive notifications specific to Group Fitness and/or Intramurals
    1. Open the Aztec Recreation app
    2. Click on the hamburger icon on the top left
    3. Select Notifications
    4. Personalize the app under Communication Preferences

3. I’M AN ENROLLED STUDENT AND MY BARCODE SCREEN IS SHOWING AN ON SCREEN MESSAGE

Select "Clear Barcode" and then “Enrolled Student Login” a second time if you are receiving an additional on-screen message.

WHY DOESN’T MY PHONE AUTOFILL FEATURE WORK ON THE APP?

You cannot use phone autofill features or Apple's password manager to login on the Aztec Recreation app. Please type your login credentials directly into the text boxes.

1. I GET AN ERROR FOR GROUP FITNESS & PROGRAM REGISTRATION “Permission to track your activity denied.”

  1. Go to your phone Settings
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Select Tracking
  4. Click on "Allow apps to request to track"
  5. Click on "Aztec Recreation"

2. WHEN I TRY TO REGISTER FOR A GROUP FITNESS CLASS IT SAYS “Not in Registration Period.”

Participants may register for group fitness classes 7 days in advance up to 15 minutes prior to the start of class. If you need to cancel your registration, the deadline is 30 minutes prior to the Group Fitness class start time.

3. CAN I USE A VISIT PASS TO ATTEND A GROUP FITNESS CLASS?

Individuals who purchase a visit pass are not eligible to make a reservation for class but they may attend a group fitness class if there is space available. Plan to arrive early to class to show your ID and visit pass to the instructor and if there is space available, the instructor may be able to allow entry to class. 

4. HOW DO I PAY FOR AN ENS CLASS?

  1. Go to ARC Online OR open your Aztec Recreation app
  2. Select the “Credit Class Fee” icon
  3. Select the specific class you are registering for
  4. Find your class days/times and select “Sign In”. If you are already signed in, select “Register”
  5. Sign the Program Waiver
  6. Provide at least 1 Emergency Contact
  7. Proceed to checkout to submit your registration fee on the secure Freedompay site

4. HOW CAN I START CLIMBING AT THE ARC WALL?

Stop by the ARC Wall during open hours and our friendly staff can offer our required safety orientation. Once complete, members can open climb based on their certification level. Top Rope and Lead Climbing test outs are available - ask during your orientation for details.

Question

1. HOW DO I ACCESS THE ARC AND OTHER RECREATION FACILITIES DURING SUMMER INTERIM?

Enrolled SDSU student membership access is divided into three terms each year (Fall, Spring, Summer), for dates check our student webpage. If you were enrolled in the previous semester, but are taking the current semester off, you may purchase a membership: check the details about access as a continuing SDSU student.

2. CAN I ACCESS MY MEMBERSHIP BEFORE I BECOME AN SDSU STUDENT?

If you are over 18, and provide proof of paid intent to enroll, you have an option to purchase membership in the term prior to your becoming an SDSU student. You need your RedID number and paid enrollment deposit receipt for proof of intent to enroll. Bring these, a form of payment and a government issued ID to the ARC member services desk to sign up.

3. HOW DO I CANCEL MY PAID ARC MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT?

To cancel your membership at the Aztec Recreation Center, please complete the Member Cancellation form by the 24th of the month to avoid being charged for the following month.
