Innovative field for day and evening sports, fitness and classes
The Recreation Field, completed in August 2016, features state-of-the art turf and lighting systems. The new turf technology provides lowered field temperatures and maximum shock reduction for participants. This Green built space also utilizes highly focused LED lighting that minimizes shadows and power consumption. Located north of SDSU Parking Structure 12, the Recreation Field is available daily for drop-in play and also hosts recreational activities, including Aztec Recreation Group Fitness classes, ENS Credit classes, Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs.
