Q: Does it cost extra to take a Rec Class?
  Yes, Rec Classes charge separate fee from the ARC Membership. There is a difference in the participation according to our structure ARC Member/SDSU Student/Community Affiliate with ARC members being the lowest. The price difference can vary from class to class and can be found through the main Rec Class page.

Q: Do I have to be an ARC Member to take a Rec Class?
  No, you do not have to be an ARC Member to enroll in any of the Rec Classes. The classes are open to anyone over the age of 18 years old that completes a waiver for participation

Q: Does the CPR/First Aid class include certification for CPR/First Aid of children and infants?
  Yes, the CPR/First Aid Rec Class does certify participants in CPR/First Aid to infants, children and adults.

Q: Where can I get a copy of the Rec Class schedule?
  Copies of the Rec Class schedule are located in the front entry area of the Aztec Recreation Center or on the website.

How do I know if there is a spot available in the class?

 

When you enter the Online Registration it will tell you the number of open spaces available in the page when you view the class before registering.

Can I still enroll in a class after it has begun?

 

We do not prorate the cost of taking a class. If you decide to enroll half way through the session you will be charged the full price.

How do I become a Rec Class Instructor?

 

If you are interested in becoming a Rec CLass Instructor please complete the Instructor Interest sheet and submit to the Rec Class Supervisor via mail or email.

Do I need a partner to enroll in any of the dance classes?

 

You do not need a partner to participate in any dancing classes and all levels are welcome to participate.
