DESCRIPTION: Join us in the Student Union to visit with and learn about campus resources for health and wellness as we kick off Mending Minds week.

Heated Restorative Yoga

DESCRIPTION: Relax and release stress from both your body and mind by moving through passive stretches. This class is taught in a heated studio with temperatures reaching up to 104 degrees to help loosen tight muscles. Be sure to bring a towel and a full bottle of water.

Must register ahead of time in the Aztec Recreation App. Aztec Recreation membership is required.

DESCRIPTION: Join us at the ARC to uplift and inspire with notes of affirmation! Let's inspire and uplift each other, one affirmation at a time! While there, visit with and learn about campus clubs to get involved in and how they are there to support your health and wellness.

DESCRIPTION: Feeling stressed? Just needing to talk with someone? Talk It Out is a drop-in service that provides students with easy access to informal and confidential consultation with our C&PS counselors. Although Talk It Out counselors are professionals, it is not a substitute for therapy and does not constitute mental health treatment. Join via Zoom.

DESCRIPTION: This group is designed to help students develop a foundation in mindfulness and meditation skills. It is intended for students who are seeking to improve their ability to "live in the now" rather than worrying about the future, regretting the past, or getting stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns.

Body Wisdom

DESCRIPTION: A group based off the Body Positive Model that aims to help you towards body acceptance and cultivating widsom from within. Open to SDSU students of all genders.

Boxing Fitness

DESCRIPTION: Get ready for a total body workout that will combine boxing techniques, heavy bag work, and more! Participants will learn boxing basics on the floor then take moves to the bag. Learn to execute a variety of heart pumping punches while gaining muscular endurance. This class does not require prior boxing experience.

Must register ahead of time in the Aztec Recreation App. Aztec Recreation membership is required.

Deep Stretch Yoga & Meditation

DESCRIPTION: In this class you will practice elongating and stretching every muscle so you leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. Poses will be held for a few cycles of breath to increase range of motion. If you are ’stiff’ and looking to improve flexibility then this is the class for you. Each class with end with a small meditation practice.

DESCRIPTION: Stop by Hepner Hall to learn how to make Lime Chia Seed Pudding with Mobi. Mobi provides nutrition education coupled with a cooking demonstration to teach students essential cooking techniques, emphasizing brain foods and nutrients that support cognitive functioning.

RISE: For Survivors of Sexual & Relationship Violence

DESCRIPTION:  Rise is a confidential supportive space for survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence. This group is open to students of all genders who are currently enrolled at SDSU. Each group provides space for survivors to check-in with one other, and to learn and practice skills to further the healing process.
Students are welcome to drop-in as desired though are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. Due to the nature of the group, we ask all attendees to arrive on time (doors will close to late arrivals 10 minutes after the start time). New attendees will also complete a brief consent form in-person prior to joining.

DESCRIPTION: Would you like to connect with other students who identify as Latina/o/e/x, Chicanx, or Hispanic? Or, are you having difficulties with identifying yourself as a part of the SDSU community?
En Confianza @ SDSU is a group where you will find support and together we will learn how to face the challenges of culture shock, generational differences, and the challenge of belonging to two or more cultures. At En Confianza, we will learn how to be successful in our lives emotionally, academically and professionally. We welcome you to spend some time with us at the first group held in Spanish, Spanglish and English.
