Training Philosophy
I help chronic dieters learn to fuel their bodies adequately to build physical & mental strength with an anti-diet, weight-neutral, compassionate approach. Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for something you ate.

Bio
After almost two decades of trying every diet out there, yet somehow never happy with my body AND watching so many of my clients, class members and friends suffer the same fate…I completely overhauled my mindset as a Personal Trainer.
Looking back on 8 years in the fitness industry, I now realize that many of the women I’ve crossed paths with were underfed and overtrained. Basically starving themselves and doing too much cardio in the ever unfulfilling quest to be thin. Zero judgment, I did it too.
My main focus now is to make sure that my clients are eating enough to build the muscle they’ve been longing for, sleeping enough, drinking their water and slowly starting to incorporate other healthy habits and mindset routines around body image that will last a lifetime.
Quick weight loss and crash diets are a no-go. So are food guilt and negative self-talk. You simply cannot HATE yourself into your “dream body”. That’s in quotations because I truly believe that everyone would be healthier if they focused on how they FEEL more than how they LOOK.
If you’ve been tearing yourself apart in the mirror for years, those negative feelings about your body don’t magically disappear even when you do hit your “goal weight.” That’s why I strive to lead with compassion and empathy as a Trainer and meet you where you’re at - with your workouts, your body image, your eating habits, your lifestyle.
I take an anti-diet, weight-neutral approach that considers the damage done to tear us down by the diet and fitness industries’ quick fix mentality, TV & magazines that only portray one “ideal” female body and social media rife with Photoshop, filters, cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
I have in-person, virtual and hybrid 1:1 training programs available for your customized needs! If you want to improve your physical & mental strength, learn to eat for your goals and ditch the quick fixes, text me at 415-264-2468 or email aislinn@aislinnreneefitlife.com to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
