This class is designed to give you the foundation of Salsa dancing’s three positions (free style, open and closed) in East Coast and West Coast style Salsa. You will learn transitions in and out of all three positions, how to lead or follow a partner, and some turns to "wow" them on the dance floor. You will listen to Salsa music to identify the Salsa beat and learn "Cuban" hip motion. The class will also give you an introduction and explanation of Bachata, club style Cha-cha and Merengue.
