PER THE CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM GUIDANCE, THE MAJORITY OF SDSU’S SPRING 2021 COURSES WILL BE OFFERED VIA VIRTUAL MODALITIES. A LIMITED NUMBER OF IN PERSON OFF-CAMPUS WATERSPORTS CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE IN SPRING 2021.

This course is an introduction to the philosophy and practice of yoga. Students will learn the fundamentals of a Yoga, breathing, and meditation practice in a safe, supportive and academic environment as they become familiarized with the integration of the body, the mind, and spirit. There will be an emphasis on learning proper alignment and increasing strength and flexibility as well as becoming acquainted with the basics of yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayamas) and meditation.
