This course is for students who already consider themselves outdoor enthusiasts. Activities will focus on further developing outdoor skills to make the experience more enjoyable. Exploration topics include current industry trends, new technology and equipment, gear maintenance procedures, the intersection of outdoor recreation and social media, and how to recreate responsibly. Students will learn the art of risk management and effective decision making process for their course required outdoor activities.
