This course is intended to be an introduction to indoor climbing where students will focus on the skills required for climbing at indoor facilities where ropes and routes are set up and easily identifiable. Students will review climbing movement, belay techniques, and equipment use and selection for indoor and outdoor application.
This course includes twelve instructional sessions, online assignments, and completion of a pre-approved daylong outdoor climbing trip with Aztec Adventures instructional staff. Additional trip information provided on the first day of class.
