This course will provide the student with intermediate skills and knowledge necessary to participate in Judo safely. Beginning competition strategy and tactics will be expanded. Intermediate skill instruction and application of Nage-waza (Throwing), Osae-waza (Grappling/Submission), with progressive drills and Randori (Free Exercise) are practiced. Students should expect to fall, grab, throw, and practice joint locks, pins and chokes.
