This course is designed to teach personal Self-Defense strategies and techniques through focused exercise designed to help develop muscle memory, strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, and balance. The curriculum is based in bio-mechanics specific to traditional martial arts practice, practical self-defense, and sport fighting training. There will be a heavy emphasis on improved fitness, focus, self-control, and discipline. This is a very physical, hands-on class with a lot of partner work that will include pushing, pulling, grabbing, striking, falling and explosive body movements. You do not need any prior experience or specific skill set to participate in this class.
