Paralympic Facts
The Paralympic Games is the world’s third biggest sporting event in terms of ticket sales. Started in 1952, as the Stoke Mandeville Games in England by Sir Ludwig Guttmann, the Paralympic Games now take place every 4 years beside the Olympic Games. Paralympics have attracted over 4,000 athletes from over 150 countries competing in over 20 sports.
