This course will emphasize beginning and fundamental concepts in boxing. This would include conditioning drills and shadow boxing, basic offense/punch combinations, and defensive drills emphasizing head movement, blocking, and footwork. Boxing pad work, heavy bag, and other targets will be utilized emphasizing power and effective striking. Boxing gloves will be provided. Wraps are available for purchase at the ARC front desk for $12.
