Group Fitness Program Request

Aztec Recreation coordinates group fitness programs for SDSU departments and organizations led by Aztec Recreation instructors. Upon request, your group can participate in a fun class designed to meet your needs. Our programs promote fitness, wellness and team bonding. Choose from a variety of formats ranging from meditation and yoga to bootcamp and cycling. Pricing will vary upon class location and duration and equipment availability is determined by location. Submit your request early; Programs and facilities are available on a first come first serve basis.

Circuit Challenge

Looking to amp up your cardio and strength training routine? This class will get your heart rate high and your muscles strong! You will be challenged with high intensity cardio intervals, functional training moves, agility drills, strength training exercises, and more. If you are looking to get out of your regular routine, dig deep, and this class will challenge you from the inside out!

Cycle Core

This class is a great opportunity to build both muscular strength and endurance in the legs through 30 minutes of cycling. Finish off this beginner friendly workout with 15 minutes of abdominal work!

Cycling

This class is a great cardiovascular workout that simulates outdoor rides.  Pedal through sprints, hills, intervals, and more to energizing music that is sure to make you sweat.  If you choose to wear cycling shoes, our bikes are compatible with SPD cleats. No experience required!

Mindful Meditation

Meditation is the transforming of the mind. Learn to relax and reflect in this class proven to decrease stress and improve your mood and self-awareness.

Outdoor Boot Camp

Drop and give me 20! This class utilizes challenging segments of cardiovascular work, muscle conditioning, and other athletic drills to ensure a complete body workout out on the Rec Field.

Pilates Sculpt

In this mat-based class you will improve muscle control, posture, flexibility, and coordination. Experience exercises designed to maximize core strength, while sculpting the muscles of the trunk and hips.

Total Body

Looking to develop strong muscles? This total body workout will keep you coming back for more! Discover new exercises to challenge yourself using bodyweight, steps, resistance bands, pump barbells, free weights, and stability balls.

Vinyasa Yoga

Looking to achieve internal balance and reduce tension and unwanted stress? This class uses breath-synchronized movement to create internal heat and enhance focus. Dynamic, flowing posture sequences will build strength and flexibility.
