CLASS TYPE: Strength


Join us for a beginner friendly class focusing on strength, flexibility, and core stability. In this class you will learn how to properly adjust/use the TRX (Black & Yellow straps) and discover the immense amount of exercises that can be performed through bodyweight suspension training.

Class Instructor


Lisa is an Aztec alumnus who earned both her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Master's degree in Social Work from SDSU. She has been an AFAA certified group fitness instructor for 9 years. Lisa's initial love for group fitness classes started with Turbo Kick, which was her first instructor certification. It didn't take long for Lisa to add additional formats to her repertoire, including R.I.P.P.E.D, Schwinn and Body Combat. Resistance training classes have become a new passion for Lisa, who says "Helping people build lean muscles and a strong body...there's just nothing better! Having a room full of like-minded people, all working hard and trying to get stronger and more fit, is the best boost of energy I could ask for". Lisa loves teaching any and all formats, finding group fitness classes the most rewarding form of exercise, both physically and emotionally! When not teaching group fitness, Lisa works as a psychiatric social worker at Alvarado Medical Center's Emergency Department.
