Sofia Carmenate
Class Instructor
Sofia Carmenate is a current Senior majoring in Psychology, with minors in Counseling/Social Change & Child Family Development. Sofia has a background teaching dance and is ACE Group Fitness-Certified. Her favorite formats to teach are barre sculpt and pilates sculpt. She hopes to get her yoga certification soon to teach here at the ARC. She is passionate about health and wellness as well as the mind-body connection associated with physical activity. In her classes, Sofia emphasizes the importance of working out to feel good, relieve stress, and obtain confidence! Her goal as an instructor is to uplift her participants to build confidence and strength in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment! In her spare time, she hangs out with friends, fulfills duties for different leadership positions, goes to the beach, reads, and loves to get outside!
