Discover the foundations of Pilates Sculpt in this beginner-friendly, mat-based class designed to enhance core strength, posture, flexibility, and coordination. Learn to integrate mindful movement and breath as you build strength and mobility. Through guided exercises, you'll sculpt and tone your trunk and hips while experiencing the principles of Pilates in a supportive environment. Perfect for those new to Pilates or looking to refine their practice.

Sofia Carmenate is a current Junior majoring in Psychology, with minors in Counseling/Social Change & Child Family Development. Sofia has a background teaching dance and is ACE Group Fitness-Certified. Her favorite formats to teach are cycle & strength classes. She hopes to soon be able to teach Yoga Sculpt, Barre, and Pilates. She is passionate about health and wellness as well as the mind-body connection associated with physical activity. In her classes, Sofia emphasizes the importance of working out to feel good, relieve stress, and obtain confidence! Her goal as an instructor is to help her students feel comfortable, included, and most importantly having fun during her classes to good music! In her spare time, she's hanging out with friends, going to swim in the ocean, or dancing!
