Kelly Sawyer
Class Instructor
Kelly is a lifelong athlete with a passion for empowering others through movement. She played competitive soccer throughout community college and later joined the UC San Diego Women’s Club Water Polo team, where she earned her B.S. in Management Science. After college, her athletic journey led her to competitive boxing. She is a certified USA Boxing Coach and an active athlete with numerous sanctioned fights. In 2024, Kelly was admitted to the Fowler College of Business M.S. in Finance program at San Diego State University and is expected to graduate in Spring 2026.
In her classes, Kelly combines endurance, technique, and strength training to create an inclusive and motivating environment. She aims to help participants build confidence, sharpen their skills, and achieve their fitness goals both inside and outside the ring.
