Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding class designed to help you unwind while building flexibility and mobility. Through a series of long-held, passive stretches, you’ll target the deep connective tissues, promoting joint health and improving range of motion. This class encourages stillness and mindfulness, giving you the opportunity to relax both body and mind while focusing on breath and awareness. Perfect for all levels, Yin Yoga is a great complement to more high-energy workouts or for anyone looking to reset and restore.

Amanda Resch

Amanda discovered her passion for yoga during her undergraduate years at UC Santa Barbara. She continued to explore the vast yoga community in the Bay Area while completing her MA degree from San Francisco State University. She became a certified yoga teacher in 2004.

Schooled within the vinyasa-based yoga tradition, Amanda’s focused attention is placed on building foundational flows with functional strength, while at the same time improving student’s range of motion and flexibility. She creates a welcoming and inclusive environment in which students can use curiosity and self-compassion to further their mind-body connection. Amanda approaches yoga as a holistic experience, incorporating yoga philosophy into each class to facilitate her students’ trajectory on their own personal journeys.

Her passions, in addition to yoga, include spending time with her family, resistance training, Pilates, dancing, art, and brewing kombucha.
